Murray's Revenge is Murs latest collaboration with producer 9th Wonder. This is the Los Angeles born and bred MC's first release on LA based record label Record Collection (The Walkmen, John Frusciante) after two albums on the Def Jux label. Murs has been rappin' for over a decade with the Living Legends. Here's a couple of standouts from the album, one of these tracks namedrops Moz..."She likes The Smiths, The Cure, really into Morrissey" ("Dark Skin White Girls"). The other is an ode to the city that I love and hate ("L.A.")...and would you believe Murs doesn't swear or use the n-word on the whole record.
