This morning I checked my (sometimes neglected) Late Night Sounds MySpace and found that I had a friend request from David Hopkins (or whoever runs that page). I was treated to a couple of unreleased songs, available for free download and I've been listening to 'em all morning. So I pass them on to you...enjoy.
Coincidentally someone recently e mailed me (because Late Night Sounds had come up in their inkernet search due to the fact that I had played a David Hopkins song on an early program), inquiring if I knew where Hopkins was or what he was up to (previously he had been living in San Fransisco). I meant to head over to his website and find out, but I got sidetracked as usual. Anyhow, David Hopkins MySpace informs that he currently resides and plays shows in New York City. If your not familiar with David Hopkins you can find his albums on cd baby. Recommended for fans of Jeff Buckley, Nick Drake, Damien Rice, or David Gray.
