UK singer/songwriter (and former bare-knuckle boxer) Findlay Brown’s sophomore album Love Will Find You finds influence (much like fellow Englishman Richard Hawley) in classic crooners like Roy Orbison and Ricky Nelson.
Making his US debut on Verve Forecast Records and with the help of producer Bernard Butler (Suede), Brown opts for a more produced sound in the mold of Phil Spector-produced albums of the 60s. This album comes as quite a surprise; a welcome one for fans of finely constructed classic pop.
