{Owl and The Sparrow}
************UPDATE*************
After posting about this film the other week I found an article in the OC Register about the new Viet film wave that's been gaining momentum. The article mentions to four directors in particuar, which resemble the cinematic alliance of Mexico's "Three Amigos" (Alfonso Cuarón, Guillermo del Toro and Alejandro Gonzalez Iñárritu) due to the fact that they are all close friends and offer advice on each others screenplays and in the editing room. Owl and the Sparrow (Cú và chim se sẻ in Vietnamese) is a film by Stephane Gauger that follows the fictional story of three Vietnamese individuals (a runaway child, a zoo keeper, and a flight attendant) over a period of five days as they meet in Vietnam.
