{Madeleine Peyroux}
Madeleine Peyroux is back with a new album titled Half The Perfect World, in which she has co-wrote four of twelve jazzy numbers. You may remember her excellent cover of Elliott Smith's "Behind The Bars" (listen here) featured on her last album. This time around she re-imagines Joni Mitchell’s “River” (in a duet with K.D. Lang) and Tom Waits’ “The Heart Of Saturday Night”. The playful opening tune “I’m All Right” is my personal favorite...the optimism and playfulness really can't help but send high hopes for the rest of the album.
