{On the Local Front}

Waves of protests have been held in abundance over the past few days, none as impressive as the march in downtown L.A. on saturday. Angry over pending legislation on Capitol Hill that would, among other things, make it a felony to be an illegal immigrant in the United States, a crowd of marchers estimated around a half million strong marched the streets of downtown Los Angeles. We joined an estimated 3,000 people in a downtown Santa Ana march yesterday, I don't know about those kids marching on the 101 freeway.

Suggested listening (courtesy of Awesome Until Proven Guilty):
Tchaikovsky - "1812 Overture"
Rolling Stones - "Street Fighting Man"
Rage Against The Machine - "Street Fighting Man"
...and now for something completely different.

Over the weekend I watched (and enjoyed) Inside Man, here's that cool song featured in the beggining and the ending of the film...
Sapna Awasthi & Sukwinder Singh - "Chaiyya Chaiyya Bollywood Joint"

The protest march or the 'Bollywood Joint" track?
First of all Sammy Davis Jr. Jr., you are my ipod, so you can't exactly wolf down hot mix! Second, you don't have fingers so I don't know how you managed to leave a comment?

I love the song! I would love to download it, but ITunes sells the soundtrack only as a complete album, in my humble oppinion the rest of it is trash...do you know where can I download just this song?

Do you know where I could download the version with the rap? Like at the ending of the movie? 'Cause that would be so cool.
Thanks in advance! :D
